Diamonds are forever
Diamonds are forever
Diamonds Are Forever is a 1971 spy film, the seventh in the James Bond series. Also, the real sparkling diamonds () are meant to be kept/possessed forever.
India is a superpower when it comes to raw & uncut diamonds of a different kind/variety. These are in human form abundantly available and growing. We are referring to the voluminous size of talented Indian graduates, running into millions of them and much more to add to the stock. However, the irony is most are mined in/from various colleges and universities in ‘raw / uncut’ conditions, despite the active processing techniques being applied on them. Very few ‘shine’ and reach the ‘finished’ condition to fetch a good price in the international market. Many do get ‘bought’ at domestic markets, but significant polishing techniques are required to make them part of any jewelry set and adorned by the buyer. The unsold raw diamonds create a great challenge despite a huge demand for ‘polished’ diamonds as the ‘mines’ are unable to do effective ‘polishing’ and make them ‘jewelry ready’. The domestic buyers spend a lot of money and time to do the ‘polishing act’ and it becomes a significant load on them to continue doing that forever. Hence, the need to have quality polished diamonds are forever.
SkillsForce aims to change this condition by undertaking an endevour that would do the ‘polishing’ work and deliver ‘ready to use’ diamonds (skilled IT resources) for effective use by the employers. SkillForce would engage with all stakeholders in the ecosystem to enable high quality professional talent made available for employers that would shine like real diamonds.
